remember how intense the aw06 junya spiked shoes/boots were? of course you do- you either have them or wish you did, there's no third option. along with the margiela tabi, they're some of my favourite "iconic", so to speak, shoes. unlike the margielas that get re-released (almost?) every season and are pretty easy to obtain, at least in some of their many reincarnations (i'm of course not talking about models from the '80s or '90s but i'm no collectioner so i would be happy to just own some plain black ones one day), these boots were released once, got probably sold out so i didn't get my hopes high for ever getting a pair. so you can imagine i pounced them like a madwoman when i saw them up on yahoo japan auctions- can't say i walked away with the deal of my life (reason for being broke as mentioned in my previous post) but i'm pretty happy with my purchase. heck, i'm more than happy- to finally "own" (yet to arrive, obviously) an item you've been wanting for years is a pretty phenomenal feeling. i do feel shallow and material but what fashion blogger doesn't? all in all, i can't believe i wrote so much when i could just say OMG I FINALLY BOUGHT THE SHOES OF MY DREAMS BUT AM DIRT POOR NOW BUT DON'T CARE YAY RUN-ON SENTENCES!










moving along! i've been watching some old-ish crap lately, like freaks and geeks, and yesterday i watched slc punk. i swear to god this has nothing to do with the fact that both have young jason segel who was such a dreamboat in them (does anyone still use that? saw him referred to as that on tumblr and got a kick out of it because i hadn't seen the word used since i was in middle school or something). note to self: get a boyfriend! .. no, i mean it!





looking at this post makes me feel as if i'm looking at tavi's blog which is not a bad thing, only i'm almost 20 years old.

i've been shopping a lot lately and i currently have something along the lines of 2lv. ($1.25?) in my wallet and i can't even spend them since one is my "lucky" coin but i don't remember which one and don't want to risk spending it and yay for run-on sentences. i bought a new old (2004 i think?) bern bag and this lovely fw05 comme shirt:



after buying it i saw the perfect tricot comme cardigan for like, nothing but was too poor to get it, too. i'll keep my fingers crossed people don't snatch it from under my nose, because it's really, really great. mixed patterns and mixed materials!
i really want a pair of creepers and am thinking about investing in one or two (black and leopard, maybe?) if i do get my ass to london around christmas. first eri's great outfits paired with creepers, now i'm obsessing over how awesome wends from panache's look.




i hit my leg pretty bad when chasing my cat so please, please, pretty please, pretty red and blue bruise, appear! and i really want to pair creepers with a nice pink chiffon or silk dress.

undercover is a brand i've been having a weird relationship with for the past few years. i went through supposedly liking it to thinking it's dull and not really my style, to thinking it's a bit too crazy and tacky for me, to liking it again. and i've been liking it more and more lately- i don't know, while browsing auctions there seem to be tons of great garments popping up. i'll maybe share a (undercover) wish list one of these days!
anyway, but the only undercover-related, or jun takahashi-related thing i've always loved is the graces. i love how they can seem insanely friendly and peaceful and the next moment give me the utmost creeps. i'm so bummed about missing on on a great grace t-shirt (for extremely cheap) at yahoo auctions. i really hope it pops up again, it was seriously one of the greatest undercover t-shirts i've seen!
